Everyone in metro Louisville and southern Indiana: STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND ORDER BREAD.

I just inhaled the most delicious cardamom bun I have ever tasted. The balance of sweet, fat, spice and salt was a work of art. Andersonville (CHI) bakeries can go cry in the corner.

Now on to the challah. This mouth-watering, soft, comforting loaf is so simple and solid. Almost brioche in texture, the fat in this bread makes for a divine toast with just a tad of jam (orange marmalade for this girl). Sorry, butter, you're not needed here.

Oh! But the Boule! I'm nearly out of new adjectives here. Lower fat content and incredible as sandwich bread, or for dipping in hummus, stews, and other soups. I'm coming back for two loaves next time just to let one get hard and crusty after a day. Bread bowl, anyone?

If Chef Victor doesn't open a bakery soon, I'll eat the boule hat that's staring at me on the counter.

We couldn’t even make it home with the everything bagels because they smelled so good. Definitely the best bagels I’ve ever had! They’re so good without even toasting or putting anything on them. The boule was so beautiful that I didn’t want to cut it. Eventually, I caved and did and it tasted just as good as it looked. Everything was delicious!

I ordered 4 of the bagels and 1 loaf of the challah bread. And these bagels are the most heavenly amazing piece of food ever. I haven't had a chance to try the loaf yet, but if it is as amazing as the bagels, I'm really excited.
